Having school age kids we have all had the nightmare of our kids coming home from school with head lice. Distressing but true - 60% of all school age kids get infested with head lice once a year. We at Topanga Alchemy enjoy and cherish our long locks and found that toxic-drug-store-bought head lice treatments ruined our hair. We are confident that People Protect products will work for you - guaranteed!
After any head lice treatment you must remove all lice nits that are stuck on the hair shafts about 1/4" away from the scalp . With People Protect - apply the treatment to scalp and hair - then work the oil down the hair shaft and comb through. While People Protect Treatment is working - separate the hair into small sections and pull the lice nits down the hair shaft. Lice nits are stuck on with a kind of glue (cheeky devils) so you will need to hold on to nit and pull. This is a tedious process so be patient. If it is done right the first time you may not need to repeat the process. We do recommend that you repeat the People Protect Treatment after 7 days to prevent re-infestation.
